UK Zombie Events

The other week the latest edition of The Zombie Times dropped through my virtual letterbox and I’ve been meaning to mention it ever since.

Just in case you’re not familiar with it, The Zombie Times is the occasional newsletter put together by the chaps at Terror4Fun, a website which organises zombie events in the UK and supports zombie film production around the world. It’s a great website packed with lots of stuff for zombie fans and horror movie buffs.

Looking through the site there are some tutorials on how to make a zombie, examples of zombie art and links to zombie events around the globe. You can play zombie games, read zombie movie reviews and there’s even a section in there if you wanted to appear in a zombie movie. Now why didn’t we think of that when we were casting for Stag Night of the Dead?

Oh wait…we did…there’s the Zombie Wrangler leaving an ad for Stag Night of the LIVING Dead. Is he going out on his own to make the sequel?

Did you know that there is a UK based zombie nightclub? Neither did I until I saw the mention on the website and, sure enough, every 4th Saturday of the month TheSubCulture nightclub in Leeds hosts a Nightclub of the Living Dead themed evening. I shit you not.
